29, 2010: Rassie completed her AKC CH in Enumclaw as Best of Breed. She finished with four majors. July 3, 2010: Kolperla
took 1st prize in Herding Group (Best In Group) against 24 other breeds - a first for the Icelandic Sheepdog in the AKC and is the #1 AKC Conformation Icelandic Sheepdog!
July 18, 2010: Kol is our first AKC CH and finishes the day with 17 points, 4 majors and two group placements
(1st and 4th in herding group) including a trip to the Best in Show ring. She has done it in high style and we are thrilled!

CLASSES AND SHOWS
Eyjahunda Icelandic Sheepdogs/Dragonfly Farm strives to produce and build “all around farm
dogs” as described by breed experts. Our dogs are part of our daily lives, live with us and are all herding instinct
tested. Our dogs are also tested as AKC Canine Good Citizens (CGC) and work as Therapy Dogs. They have all attended and successfully
completed various levels of obedience training and they are all deemed sound structurally by Pat Hastings. Our dogs are
healthy and happy farm dogs. Because we respect the County of Origin in all matters, we are working to preserve the whole
dog.
Pineridge Kolperla (Kol) earned our first AKC Championship
(17 points in 4 majors with two Herding Group Placements 1st and 4th). She is also an International/National Champion
and UKC Champion. She has her herding interest test completed and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen and has her Therapy Dog Certificate.Kol
has done extensive work as a therapy dog. (See Therapy dog page).
Kolrassa Krokridandi (Rassie) is an AKC CH, Intch/Nat Champion and UKC Champion, Canine Good Citizen and has
her Therapy Dog Certificate. She is working on her AKC CH points and we hope to begin herding activities again later this
year.Rassie is our ultimate farm dog.
Eyjahunda Thorarinn (Bubbie) passed
his herding instinct test and is gathering points towards an AKC championship. He passed his CGC in July, 2010.

Following this weekend of shows, Kol, Rassie and Bubbie have
achieved majors towards an AKC Championship. We are very happy and having a great time at the shows. However, our farm
dogs are most happy when we arrive back on the farm and they can spend days playing, running and being the silly farm
dogs that they are.

On June 30, 2010, the
Icelandic Sheepdog entered the conformation ring in AKC. Eyjahunda Icelandic Sheepdogs attended our first show on July 3 &
4 at the Bell Vernon Kennel Club and made history. July 3rd: Under AKC Judge
Janet Sinclair Kolperla was Best Opposite Sex (5 pt. Major)
Eyjahunda Thorarinn was Best Puppy Eyjahunda Dagny, RN (Ashton)
was Best Amateur Owner Handler Kolrassa was 3rd in Open Bitches July 4th: Under AKC Judge Del Richards Kolperla was Best of Breed (5 Pt. Major) then Best in Group
- a first for the Icelandic Sheepdog. She competed against 24 other breeds. This is something that typically takes years to
accomplish. We are absolutely thrilled. Kolrassa took Reserve
Winner bitch. Eyjahunda Thorarinn took Best Puppy Eyjahunda Bragi was Reserve Winner male

| January, 2009 AKC Rose City Classic |
Rassie participated in the 2009 AKC Rose City Classic in Portland, Oregon on January 17 & 18,
2009. On both days, she took Best of Breed with competition and Best of Misc. Class with competion, beating the Leonberger,
Xoloitzcuinti and Cane Corso. Judges were Mrs. Elaine Young (1.17.09) and Dr. Robert Brown (1.18.09). Having just lost our
Hana to cancer a few days earlier, we left Kol at home to keep Zoey company. Both Kol and Rassie will be attempting to get
the IABCA National CH title next month.

While in Portland, we participated in the AKC's Meet the Breed Booth. Rassa hung out with several
other ISDs including one of Kol's pups, Dagny. The othert ISDs present were Tisla, Berit, Lulu and Bosi. We also enjoyed
the wonderful company of Peg, Ashton, Trish, Matthew, Mary Lou, Beth, Les, Lori, Bob and sweet Emily. Pat Putman also came
by to say hello and it was wonderful to see her. We had a great time, which is typical of the experience of getting together
with other ISD folks.

November 23, 2007: Rassa takes BOB and 2nd in Herding Group at UKC Conformation Show under Judge Victoria Lovely. She
now has 1 of 3 competition wins and 55 of 100 points towards her UKC Championship. She is now a UKC Top Ten dog in the U.S.
October, 2007: Rassa completes Puppy Obed Class
September 10, 2007: Rassa began Puppy Obedience Class at Pawsabilities in Tukwilla, WA.
Kol continues Intermediate Obedience Class at Pawsabilities.
July 29, 2007: Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club Dog Show; Sequim, WA. Kol became certified as a Therapy Dog (TDI) under Chris
Cornell.
July 8, 2007: UKC Washington Classic, Auburn. Kol took Champion of Champions, Best of Breed with competition and Second in
herding group (6 breeds). She also earned her first UKC Top Ten point and is now one of the top ten ISDs in the U.S.
July 1, 2007: Kol took best bitch at the first Nordvestur Icelandic Sheepdog Fun Match in Sequim, WA. under AKC Judge

Kol took BOB. She went on to take first in the Herding Group with competition of four.
May, 2007: Kol got two legs of her Rally Novice title.
April 24, 2007: Kol started an Advanced Rally Class at Pawsabilities.
April 21 & 22, 2007: Kol became CH Pineridge Kolperla, CGC on April 21st at 14 months of age at the UKC All Breed
Conformation show in St. Helens, OR. On that same day, she took first in the herding group and Reserve BIS.
On the 22nd, Kol took Best in Herding Group in both shows, Champion of Champions both shows and competed in BIS twice,
winning Reserve BIS once.
Having a Canadian bred and born dog can be fun! We are awaiting Kol's CKC certification so that we can show her in Canada.

April, 2007: Kol completed Beginning Rally Class.
March 31 & April 1, 2007: Kol competed in four NCA Conformation shows in Oregon. She won four Best Bitch, four BOB,
four First Place, two Second Place in Group (rare breeds) and two Third Place in BIS.
March 24 & 25, 2007: Kol competed in four UKC Conformation shows, winning three Best of Female, four Best of Class,
three Best of Opposite awards. She completed the three requisite legs needed for CH and 95 of the 100 points necessary.
March, 2007: Kol competed in one UKC Obedience trial (Puget Sound K-9's. She also participated in an agility workshop.
Kol is a natural on the agility field and will begin formal lessons when she is 18 months old. We continue to participate
in a weekly novice obedience class held at Pawsabilities Dog Training Facility. We are currently taking a 6 week seminar
in novice rally.
January, 2007: Kol competed in two UKC Obedience trails (Monroe Velley Dog Training Club). We are working towards her
CD (Companion Dog) title in UKC and AKC and her conformation CH in UKC.
January, 2007: Kol joined the obedience "Novice" team at Pawsabilities in Tukwilla, WA.
January 24, 2007: Kol turned one year old.
January, 2007: Kol earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title at the Portland Rose City Classic Dog Show in Portland,
OR.
January, 2007: Kol participated in a fun match in Tukwilla, WA. She won BOB puppy and third place puppy overall (in a
group of 11).
December, 2006: Kol graduated from Intermediate Obedience.
October, 2006: Kol graduated from "Family Dog I".
